The Disney parent/student information meeting has been scheduled for March 5, 2015 at 7:30 p.m. Please note that in the past, we have held two meetings to accommodate various schedules, but we are unable to do so this year because of the schedules of the notary and travel agency representative.
IF YOU OR YOUR STUDENT ARE PLANNING TO TRAVEL TO DISNEY, YOU MUST ATTEND THIS MEETING. THE FULLY REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT OF $100 PER TRAVELER IS DUE AT THIS MEETING.
The itinerary and trip details will be shared at this meeting, but you are welcome to contact me ahead of time to answer any questions you might have.
On Monday, 2/23, we will kick off a fundraiser to help us raise money for the orchestra. This year, we will be selling great items from Century Resources’ fundraising program, and the fundraiser will run until March 9th. Fundraising is an important part of providing students with excellent experiences, and in order to reach our goal, we hope every student participates as bestthey can.
When we kick off the fundraiser, your student will receive a packet that includes everything they need. Our goal is to make this easy for both students and parents. Each student has a Plan of Action, along with tips for taking orders, on the back of the Awards Brochure. If someone wants to pay with a credit card, simply use a smartphone to scan the code on the brochure and they can pay through our secure mobile store. Out-of-town family and friends can even help your student by ordering items at www.helpourgroup.com/shop. All they need is our Group ID, which is 37252, and items will be shipped directly to them. I’ll send you update letters like this throughout the fundraiser to remind you of important upcoming dates, such as when students should bring in their order forms, etc.
If you have any questions about the fundraiser or anything else, please let me know!
SCRIP Gift Card Program: For the past year this program has successfully been earning savings for the families that have participated! One to two times a month, an order will be placed to purchase gift cards to stores and restaurants that you normally shop at. The retailer gives a percentage of the face value back to the student that ordered it. The earned money is then placed in the student’s account. You can purchase a little or a lot. If you know you are going to shop at stores that participate (Stracks/Ultra, Meijer, Target, PetSmart, Joann’s, Walmart, Old Navy, Cracker Barrel, Applebees, Noodles & Co., AMC, Family Video…) purchase a gift card and earn savings! Download the SCRIP form.
As you may have heard, the orchestra is planning a trip to Walt Disney World during Fall Break 2015. Please refer to the ITINERARY AND INITIAL PRICE document and then please answer the following questions.
