| ISSMA (Indiana State School Music Association) Solo & Ensemble Contest takes place
at Crown Point High School on February 11, 2012 and is an opportunity for students to play for a music judge and receive comments
and a rating. 6th graders will not be playing solos this year (they will have the opportunity
next year), but they will be playing in a small group. |

| Students will be
playing in ONE of the following groups: |
| GROUP 6A plays at 9:10
in room C119 (students will be finished by 9:30) |
| GROUP 6B plays at 9:42
in room C119 (students will be finished by 10:00) |
| |
| There will be a
bus provided from Highland to Crown Point. Parents must arrange for their children to be picked up immediately
following (after medals are passed out) |

| This event is a required grade for orchestra. |
