Orchestra 2011-2012
I apologize for the delay in getting out a “beginning-of-the-school-year”
message out to everyone. I hope everyone is settling in nicely to their school routines. I have a few items to which I would like to draw your attention:

Uniforms All
7th-12th grade orchestra students have a required uniform. For information about the uniform and to
download the order form, please visit http://highlandorchestra.org/uniform.html. Forms and money are due by Friday, September 9, 2011.
Fair Share As in years past, all students in grade 6-12 will pay a fair share fee to
cover orchestra expenses for the year. For the entire school year, 6th grade students will pay $80 (the fee is
larger in order to cover the cost of SmartMusic), 7th-12th
grade students will pay $50 and parents with siblings will pay $75. Please submit

Booster Meetings Every orchestra parent is a member of the Highland Orchestra Boosters. This organization of parents, meets monthly (on
the first Thursday of the month, except when noted on the orchestra calendar) to plan orchestra events and fundraisers, while
supporting the mission and goals of the orchestra program. Every child, including yours, benefits directly from your involvement
