Last Friday was the halfway point for the first nine weeks, so any students who are struggling will be receiving Statements
of Concern (EL & MS) or Deficiency Reports (HS). The biggest grade "tanker" at this point is practice
records--students must practice and complete their practice records for a grade! Additionally, students have some playing
tests coming up:
Elementary: #74 For Pete's Sake (on or before 9/25/09)
When you get to the exercise 72 in Book 1, you run out of tracks on the orange play-along CD. You can start using
the black DVD or you can go to the Hal Leonard website (here) to download all of the tracks--burn them to CD or put them on your iPod!
Every student must fill out a Property Use Agreement Form. Rental fees for school instruments are $20 per semester (information can be found with the form). Forms and fees are due September 11, 2009.
